Cigna appoints new president, GM for mountain states region
Cigna, a provider of medical, dental, and health benefits, has appointed Tom Dameron as the new president and general manager of mountain states region for Cigna HealthCare.
In his new role, Dameron will be responsible for the company’s growth in the market. He will also be responsible for ensuring the quality of health care in the mountain states region for the company’s employer clients.
Dameron most recently was responsible for sales and account management for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, and also worked for United Healthcare where he held responsibility for its government segment.
Cigna western region regional vice president Jeff Terrill said that the Tom’s diverse background in the health care industry and around 25 year tenure will help the company build strong relationships with clients, producers and health care professionals.
