CNA signs agreement with RSA to expand business

CNA insurance companies has signed an agreement with RSA (formerly Royal Sun Alliance), to help expand its reach to India, South Africa and Australia, as well as many Latin American countries.

According to CNA, the agreement supplements, but will not discontinue its current, 16-year alliance with Italy-based Assicurazioni Generali.

Through international relationships with RSA and Generali, combined with a network of branch offices, CNA can now offer international policies in 142 key countries around the globe.

CNA underwriting vice president Michael Dower said that RSA has the capacity to cover risks in an around 98 countries and the agreement will enable the company to expand its global reach to serve international business needs of its US producers and customers.
