D&O Broker Appoints Executives, Opens Two New Offices

IBR Staff Writer Published 21 October 2009

The offices will be in San Francisco, California and Minneapolis, Minnesota, respectively

Mickey Estey and Lance Sunder have joined OakBridge Insurance Services and will be opening offices in San Francisco, California and Minneapolis, Minnesota, respectively.

Mickey started his career as a structural engineer in Southern California. He transitioned to insurance in 2000, joining Carpenter Moore as an Errors and Omissions broker specialising in Technology and Architects & Engineers E&O.

Mickey has steadily built his expertise to include privacy/security liability, real estate, construction consultants, attorneys and financial institutions as well as other niche professional liability lines. Most recently, Mickey was the head of Carpenter Moore's E&O practice.

Mickey will supervise the expansion of OakBridge's CoBroker model by providing its Retail Partners with E&O expertise.

Lance has over 13 years of experience in the executive liability arena. Originally a D&O specialist with Minet in the mid 90's, Lance transitioned to the wholesale side of the business when he joined Carpenter Moore in 1997. He spent the next four years practicing in the firm's San Francisco bay office where he gained extensive experience working with technology and life-sciences companies during a very turbulent time in the D&O marketplace and the tech sector in general. Lance then opened the company's Minnesota office.

Lance brings with him relationships with the D&O insurers and a knowledge of D&O coverage. He will build upon OakBridge's position in the mid west.
