Everest Re Establishes European Headquarters, ERC-Ireland
ERC-Ireland, Everest Underwriting Group form a hub for Everest’s Continental European operations
Bermuda-based Everest Re Group' subsidiary, Everest Reinsurance Company (ERC-Ireland), has obtained license by the Irish authority to operate as an authorised non-life reinsurer in Ireland. It enables the company to operate throughout the European Union (EU) under a single regulatory framework.
Headquartered in Dublin, ERC-Ireland, together with Everest Underwriting Group (Ireland), form a hub for Everest’s Continental European operations. It also complements its existing operations in London and Brussels, including its new operation in Cologne.

Our Irish company enhances our position in this important market and increases our operating flexibility by giving our customers access to our highly rated security through a European Union regulated company.”
