MEM selects Guidewire policy administration, billing solutions
Missouri Employers Mutual Insurance (MEM) has selected Gudiewire's PolicyCenter as its new policy administration and underwriting solution, and BillingCenter as its new billing system.
Together these Guidewire Insurance Suite applications will fully replace functionality currently performed by the carrier’s legacy policy, billing, and claims system.
Guidewire PolicyCenter is an underwriting and policy administration system that enables property/casualty insurers to grow business by improving efficiency, and enhancing relationships with agents and customers.
PolicyCenter streamlines insurers’ front and back office processes, from new business submission and quoting through policy renewals.
BillingCenter allows insurers to manage billing the way they want by making it simple to automate billing lifecycle; design flexible billing, payment and delinquency plans; manage agent commissions; and enable integration with external payment systems.
MEM chief information officer and vice president of information services Michael Foerst said that the Guidewire’s applications are individually very efficient business solutions, and the company will benefit from the shared technology platform enabling it to leverage IT skills across all three applications.
