Wells Fargo enables Atempo migrate to fully digital workflow

IBR Staff Writer Published 26 August 2011

Atempo has revealed that Wells Fargo & Company's Creative Services division has deployed the Atempo Digital Archive (ADA) and Atempo Time Navigator (ATN) products to protect, manage and preserve the data throughout the organisation's file-based, fully digital workflow.

Cross-platform data protection and archiving application provider Atempo said its digital products help address the challenges in the organisation's production process, by supporting a new digital asset management system for organising digital content, and backup and archive digital files to minimise storage requirements and mitigate the risk of data loss.

With large volumes of content, Atempo Digital Archive will help migrate files from videotape workflow to a digital archive, while making it available.

San Francisco, California based Creative Services division operates within the corporate communications department to develop and deliver video and multimedia content for internal communications, including training, communications and conference support.

Atempo Digital Archive and Atempo Time Navigator meet the needs of corporate creative service groups without locking them into a proprietary file format, file system or hardware platform.

Used in tandem, the integrated Atempo Digital Archive and Apple Final Cut Server offerings allow the team to view raw footage through proxies and migrate completed projects directly to archive.

Atempo Time Navigator's consistent backups also increased reliability of file retention and allowed for efficinet retrieval of key assets in the event of data loss.
