Zurich begins accepting new business in southeast and south central US

Zurich announced that it will begin accepting new business in 11 south central and southeastern states of the US

Zurich North America Commercial has announced that it will begin accepting new business in 11 south central and southeastern states of the US through its new Zurich Integrated Products unit, which services commercial customers in between the small-to-middle market segments.

Agents and brokers can now submit new business from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas, said Zurich.

Zurich launched the Zurich Integrated Products unit in fall 2008 in order to fill commercial insurance needs for businesses generating between $5 million and $25 million in annual revenues.

The new unit offers a range of products including auto, general liability, property, workers' compensation and umbrella, with the ability to integrate specialty lines such as directors and officers, employment practices liability insurance, crime and fiduciary, accident and health, site-specific pollution liability and contractor's pollution liability.
